Baby up for Adoption

Every new batch of clay I mix needs to be tested for color, moonies, flexibility...etc. I started this test sculpt as a wee little head. And it turned into an entire little fae.

What I found with this batch is the seams would not blend and the clay had a really hard time holding the detail.

My daughter ended up dressing her in ivory skeleton leaves, tiny pearls, dried flowers, paper flowers and copper microbeads. She nabbed an extra set of wings and put them on her. And she added soft blond hair. I absolutely love the hair style.

In the end, I had this little baby. Usually when they are smaller than a turd I flush them but I couldn't flush her. So, she is going to find a new home to somebody on my mailing list in two days.
